So, in today’s article, I am going to give you a complete walkthrough on how you can connect the WiZ Lights to Alexa and enjoy unlimited fun.

WiZ lights are compatible with various smart home ecosystems, including Amazon Alexa. 

However, before attempting to connect WiZ lights to Alexa, ensure that you have a stable Wi-Fi connection, the latest version of the WiZ app, and an Alexa-enabled device, such as an Echo speaker or the Alexa app, on your smartphone.

Connecting WiZ Lights to Alexa

1. Install and Set Up WiZ Lights

Download and install the WiZ app on your mobile device. 

Follow the app’s instructions to set up and configure your WiZ lights, including connecting them to your home Wi-Fi network.

2. Enable the WiZ Skill in Alexa

Open the Alexa app on your smartphone or visit the Alexa Skills Store on the Amazon website. 

Search for the “WiZ” skill and enable it. Link your WiZ account with Alexa by providing your WiZ account credentials.

3. Discover Devices

Here are the steps to discover devices in the Alexa app in a bullet-point format:

  • Open the Alexa app on your smartphone/ tablet.
  • Tap on the “Devices”.
  • Look for the “+” symbol or the “Add Device” button and tap on it.
  • Select the type of device you want to add from the list of available options. 
  • Follow any additional on-screen instructions.
  • Wait for the connection to complete. 
  • Now, turn on Bluetooth on your device.
  • Ensure the device is in pairing mode or ready to be discovered.
